This dated Clive Christian kitchen was in very good condition. However, the owner wanted a modern new look. They asked if anything could be done to the corner pilasters. I suggested removing them entirely, they asked their joiner to carry out this work however, he said he was unable to remove them, so it was down to me! The spindles were also removed from the doors adjacent to the fridge freezer and panelled in. They proved reasonable easy to remove once I figured out where the fixings were.
The colour is matched to Farrow&ball ‘De-Nimes’. The transformation is really remarkable – and will last for many years to come.
