Another kitchen in Edinburgh that we completed a few weeks ago. An oak effect melamine finish, prepared and primed with a specialist primer the finished in Farrow&ball ‘pointing’. I also prepared and painted the wall tiles in the same way(finished in purbeck stone). Great result, brightened up a small dark kitchen into somthing much brighter and open feeling. …
My remit was to transform this somewhat dull oak kitchen into a bright colourful look. All doors were removed, taken to my workshop where they we cleaned, sanded, primed then painted in Farrow&ball ‘green blue’. Doors all refitted and existing wooden handles refitted. Client was very happy with the result, all work carried out within one week.
This job was in two parts really. Part one was to paint the surrounds of the cabinets that I painted the doors of a few months ago.
